Pastor Joe Perez
Joe Perez is the Pastor-Teacher at Mountainside Church. At the age of 3, God saved Joe’s mother and they began attending a Christian church. At an early age, Pastor Joe was taught to love God and love others. At the age of 12, God saved Pastor Joe and he surrendered his life to serving Christ and His church. Pastor Joe began to get involved with the youth and was part of the church worship team. At the age of 18, he, and now his wife Isabel, served as youth leaders for 4 years.
In December 2001, Joe Perez was ordained as a Pastor and was part of a group of believers who founded Centro Cristiano Emanuel church in the northeast part of El Paso, Texas. Pastor Joe places great importance in the practice of expository teaching. This approach allows Pastor Joe to preach the word of God concisely and clearly.
Pastor Joe Perez graduated from Socorro High School and holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Texas at El Paso.
Pastor Joe Perez has been married to his beautiful wife Maria Isabel Perez for 20 years. They have two children Hannah Isabel Perez and Jonathan Isaiah Perez.
Pastor Joe Perez will continue to serve the Lord with love, grace, and mercy. He will continue to serve God until God calls him home
